Start with a local image
Choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP under 25 MB. If it lives in a cloud library, download it first. File extensions can be misleading; MetaQuiet checks the content signature.
Read the inspection result
A scan reports removable EXIF, XMP or text blocks. A block can contain multiple fields, so a block count is not a count of personal details. An empty scan means no supported removable blocks were detected.
Create, check and share
Create a clean copy and open it to check that it looks right. Choose the copy when sharing. A minimal orientation record is retained when needed to preserve rotation or mirroring. Color and rendering data may remain.
