Properties and beyond
Documents may carry author names, editing software and created or modified dates. Office files can also include comments, tracked changes and embedded objects. PDF content can include annotations and attachments.
Removing properties is not enough
Clearing a properties dialog does not necessarily remove revision history, embedded media, visible personal text or attachments. Different document formats require dedicated inspection and validation.
What MetaQuiet supports
PDF Info/XMP and standard Office document properties can now be removed locally. Comments, revisions, hidden sheets, attachments and embedded content are not comprehensively sanitized. Review the exported document before sharing. Some PDF variants are rejected.
